Lecturer at the Department of Geology and Petroleum Studies (College of Natural Sciences, Makerere University). I have taught here since October 2004 when I started as Teaching Assistant, save for the period 2007-2011 when I was on study leave pursuing PhD studies at the Johannes-Gutenberg University, in Mainz-Germany. My speciality is Structural Geology &Geotectonics, which I have taught both at undergraduate & graduate levels. Over the years, however, I have taught other courses including: HSE aspects of Petroleum development, Natural hazards, and Geomorphology. I participate in training students in petroleum geoscience field courses and in geological field mapping exercises, co-supervision ofpostgraduate students on research, and advising undergraduate students on their end of course dissertations/reports. I also participate as Internal Examiner and Viva voce panellist for postgraduate dissertations.

Research interests: Structural geology, (Geo)Tectonics, Geological mapping, tectonostratigraphic studies on sedimentary basin fill, and any multifaceted studies involving such disciplines.
